Assistant accountant

Closing date: Thursday 22 July 2027 Location: Based in Andover, Hampshire with flexibility of some home working Salary: £29,000 - £32,000 - Full time 37.5 hours per week

The role of assistant accountant supports the finance team to maintain the accuracy of the society’s purchase ledger, using the SAGE 200 and SAGE Intacct accounting systems, as well as producing accurate ad hoc analyses and perform a range of other reconciliation, banking and filing duties.

Assistant accountant (maternity cover)

Closing date: Thursday 30 September 2027 Location: Based in Andover, Hampshire (hybrid working, 3 days in the office per week) Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 pro-rata - Full time - 37.5 hours per week

The role of assistant accountant supports the finance team to maintain the accuracy of the Society’s purchase ledger, using the Sage Intacct accounting system, as well as producing accurate ad hoc analyses and perform a range of other month end, reconciliation, banking and filing duties.
